Next Gen Console Discussion

Its always fun to see what people think on the system;

I'd say 360 is better now, but in a few months it will be surpassed by ps3.

Im breaking it down like this :

Games - PS3
> Reason = PS3 has already over 50 planned, ps3 only, released games from now to the end of 2008. The only Xbox 360 game that in 360 only, is halo3... sorry 360 =/

Graphics - Tie
> Reason = Both systems have great graphics, 360 has better graphics on a regular TV, but when it comes to HD, ps3 beats it down.

Features (Music, Movies, others) - 360
> Reason = PS3's Media Center is currently Extremely limited, where as 360 has a much more free lance of selection for its media center.

Processor - PS3
> Reason = A basic PS3 Has A "Cell Chip featuring a multi-core design comprised of one Power PC and eight so called synergistic cores (SPEs). The prototype Cell chip is clocked at 4Ghz." With 256 MB; The 360 has a "Triple-core IBM designed Xenon as its CPU" With 512 MB. Seems Like 360 wins right? but a proven experiment shows the ps3's chip and 256 MB runs faster and stronger then the 360's Triple core and 512 MB.

Internet / Online Style - Tie
> Reason = The 360 is in a good run, the global buddy list, inviting/joining games on the run like that; seems nice and all? But The PS3's constant Updates, is quickly bringing it to the same/higher level of the 360. Im looking into the future, but theirs a chance 360 can fight back, so tie for this one =/.

Overall
Xbox 360 - 1
PS3 - 2
Ties - 2

I've had both systems, played numerous games on both, and i recommend the PS3 to those who having hard time deciding.

I kive both systems but I'm into my music and the 360 can use burned CD's on its hard-drive so I'd get a 360 game wise I'd get a PS3! I'd just get a 360 just for my music.

I would get a PS3. Reason for me is..the PS3 always got more games.

And most games on the 360 can be found for the computer so I rather just play on the computer.

Not sure how, but most games planned to be on 360 will be on ps3 as well, this is not the best thing, only because the hd graphics and game play is forced to be lower due to the lack of strength of the 360's processor.

hmmm, 360 or Ps3? Well right now im gonna have to go for the 360, since there isnt much games out for the ps3

ya but in a couple months when games start coming in mass the ps3 wil be Jesus, second only to the god of gaming the comuter!

Ps3 has a browser I'd say it's internet is better. I have a 360 tho but idk which is better. probly ps3 in not to long. It has kh 3 comming out on it, so i'd go for it.
