[Naratashi]

This story is one beyond comprehension. One of vampires, humans, possibly even romance. Vampires, still unknown to the human race besides a hand full, are close to extinction and the rate of hybrids are slowly increasing. Can their future be changed to live and thrive with humans? Can hybrids not be considered inferior and incomplete but normal? It all lies in the hands of one kind of people, the ones who don't seem to care about such defining differences. The ones who's innocence is beyond question. Children.

(A little girl is in a swing at a park. The sun is setting and the moon is beginning to come out. The little girls knee is rubbed raw and she is all alone and unattended)
Serenity: Stupid Aunt Clare. She's probably forgotten already.
*flashback*
Serenity's Mom: You'll be staying with Aunt Clare for the weekend. Isn't that fun?
Serenity: No. *is dead serious*
Serenity's Dad: Don't you like Aunt Clare?
Serenity: No.
Smom: Well it's only for the weekend. Me and Daddy are gonna go to a little party for work but then we'll be back for your party okay?
Serenity: *very excited* OKAY! Hurry back. Don't forget presents!
Sdad: *laughs* Okay, okay. We won't. Now get your things ready for Aunt Clare's house.
Serenity: Sure thing, Daddy. As long as you come back with 2 times the presents!
Both: Why?
Serenity: One for my birthday and the other for making me go to Aunt Clare's.
*they all laugh a little bit*
*later on a tall woman with a mole on the side of her right eye waves good bye to the shadowy figures of the parents. The woman's hair is pulled up in a bun and her eyes are a steely blue which looked a little odd with her nearly purple hair*
Aunt C: Hey Serenity? Want to go play in the park?
*end of flashback*
Serenity: I'm never letting her take me anywhere again!
???: What are you shouting about? Who are you?
Serenity: *turns around* Huh? Oh. Just my aunt. My name's Serenity. What's yours?

[Naru]

Elsewhere in a dark alley, the sun has already set and the moon arises to the sky. Gabriel is crying in a street corner.

Vampire kid #1: aaaa look at the stupid hybrid!

VK #2: ur usless! *kicks gabriel*

Gabriel: *crying* leave me alone! *stares with blood red eyes shinning in the dark*

VK #1: oooo the glowing eye trick hahaha *kicks gabriel again*

VK #2: cmon man lets go this is pathetic

VK #1: yeah lets go

As both vampire kids leave gabriels anger is held inside of him, in his thoughts he was beggining to think.

Gabriel: maybe i am usless *stands up*

Gabriels Human uncle (GUncle): *running towards gabriel* where have you been ive been woried sick *picks up gabriel in arms*

Gabriel: *wiping tears* some of the pure bloods beat me up again

Guncle: *hugs* its alright its alright come on lets go home

Gabriel: uncle am i usless?

GUncle: no, and never let anyone ever tell you diferent, you are. . .special

Gabriel: *hugs* thank you uncle

[Suiko]

???: Wake up Sasarai, you lazy bum!

Sasarai: uhhhh... why do i have to wake up so early there isnt any school today...

???: did you forget?

Sararai: forget what... never mind i dont care, now leave me alone Luc...

Luc: *throws a pillow at Sasarai* wake up stupid!

Sarasarai: Ouch! *throws pillow at the nearest wall* fine im up, whats the big deal anywho?

Luc: Dads taking us to the park today dumb dumb.

Sasarai: huh? oh crap o forgot! *quickly grabs some shoes and throws them on* lets go... whats wrong with you?

Luc: *hand over mouth* you cussed... im telling mom!

Sasarai: dont be a tattle tale you knuckle head!

Luc: MOM!!!! SASARAI SAID CRAP!!!

Mom: great now your both little sinners, now grab your mitts your father is waiting for you in the car, when you get back home ill bake you a pie if you get some blackberries from outside.

Luc: I LOVE BLACKBERRIES!!! *runs out the door*

Mom: you forgot your...

Luc: *runs back in and grabs his mit and a baseball bat* oops almost forgot.

Sasarai: wait for me! *runs after Luc*

(its different trying to write as a 7 year old, lol)

[SukiAmaya]

(In a victorian style house and Vampire looks down on his daughter, to others are with him a young man and a teenage boy)

Talon: You must go to the birthday.

Amara: No. *pouts and hides behind a large leather chair*

Ash: Uncle there are few vampire families around here, we cannot show weakness.

Talon: Amara, we moved here to keep you safe...

Avery: I hate it here already.

Amara: Daddy, they drink straight from humans...mommy...

Talon: *Suddenly angry* Your mother was a fool....*then sad* and I was as well for allowing her to advocate for human rights! The same people she tried to protect turned her to dust!

Amara: *whimpering slightly*

Avery: Quit your whining girl.

Ash: That's enough brother. *goes towards Amara smiling gently* You must do it for us, for our clan little one...*reaches out to her*...even if it means...

Amara: I won't do it!!!!!!!! *runs out of room and outside*

Avery: Damn her!

Ash: Let her go. She is young...there is time...


Flashback

(A child stands watching the snow fall, moonlight casts an unearthly light around a fairly large snow covered Mansion)

Amara: Mommy look at the snow-*sniffs the air, blood*

(There are shouts and battle cries in the air, smoke rises from the Mansion, the little girl runs forward)

Vampire: Amara! Stay back.

(The girl stops dead and watches the house from a distance, her mother screams from the house, the Vampire runs towards the house. The smoke thickens and sirens are approaching. A shadowy figure cuts the Vampire down before he reaches the steps and his blood splatters the snow. The girl drops to her knees.)

Amara: *is terrified and whispers the only thing she can think of* Mommy...

(The shadowy figure advances on her sword dripping with the blood of her kin. A snarl is heard and another vampire steps infront of the girl but the shadow is quicker and slices him to peices. His blood sprays the girl and the snow turns red. The girl stares up at the shadow, frightened. He is human, the ensignia of a hunter upon his chest.)

Shadow Hunter: *raises his weapon, his eyes waiver only for a moment at the human like child before him, but after are icy and resolved* Close your eyes child.

(The girl screams and at the near same time bullets are fired at the Hunter.)

Police: This is the police, stop right there!

Shadow Hunter: *takes one last look at the terrified child and runs* Retreat!! *He calls and several more shadows disapear into the night*

(The house is now totally a flame, the police do there best to comfort the child while they wait for firefighters squads to arrive)

The Playground

Amara: *wonders aimlessly across playground the sunlight makes her look incredibly pale and the other kids stay away from her*

???: I'm never letting her take me anywhere again!

Amara: *jumps then see's girl on swing* What are you shouting about? Who are you?

???: *turns around* Huh? Oh. Just my aunt. My name's Serenity. What's yours?

Amara: *blushes because the human girl is actually talking to her* Um...Amara...

Serenity: Nice to meet you! Want to swing with me?

Amara: O-okay....*takes swing next to Serenity*...I hate when my dad takes me places too...grown ups...*grins alittle*

[Naratashi]

(*kinda chuckles at Suiko because of what he says in Perfect Spirit* Yeah crap is such a bad word, well, I guess to 7 year olds it is.)

The PlayGround
*Street lights flicker as they turn on for the night*

Ayame: *Walking Alone to the birthday party* Do I really need to go to this??? *looks up at the moon and bumps into some*

????: Watch where u walking!

Ayame: *Falls to ground* I’m sorry

????: Hmpf , Just don’t let it happen again *walks away*

Ayame: *Gets up , stick out tongue while seeing other kids across the street at the park* hmmmm? *tummy growls and Sigh’s* Gotta find something to eat *begins walking towards the park*

Kid *walks up to Ayame* Hi!

Ayame: *comes to a stop* Hi *tummy Growls again*

Kid: *giggles* ur hungry, * digs in pocket* Here I have a cookie *Brings out a broken cookie*

Ayame: ummm thanks *takes cookie*

Kid: *smiles* you look different from me?

Ayame: That’s cause I’m a ,* gets interrupted by the kids mother*

Mother: Rae, its time to go home now

Rae: *sighs* yes mom!, Well I gotta, it was nice to meet u *smiles again and waves*

Ayame: *nods head and waves*

Rae: *runs off and hugs her mom*

Ayame: Stilling eating cookie and walks towards the sandbox and sit in it*

[Lilviscious]

At a small house a little girl is looking out of the window. Her eyes show no emotion. Her chin is resting on her hand, her elbow put on the windowsill. She heaves a little sigh as he other hand travals down toward the small golden cross. It feels cold in her little hand.
Her fingertips slowly roam the cross, feeling something incraved into it. Her blue eyes look down and she moves a little away from the windowsill. She takes the golden object from her red belt and investigates it. Her eyes are narrowed as she finds a small symbol. It was a symbol she had never seen before.

???: Namine! There's been a delivery for you!

Namine slowly stands from her seat, cluthing the cross in her left hand. She walks out of her small stuffy room, down the stairs to find her mother waiting for her in the hall. She hands her a small brown box which has Namine's name on it.

Mother: Your aunt sent it, I think it might be from your uncle.

Namine's eye widen slightly upon hearing this. She quickly takes the box and runs back up the stais. Her mother gives her an odd look, but goes back to doing the dishes.
The brown door creaks as Namine shuts it. She walks to her bed and places the box upon it. Eyeing it with excitement reflecting in her eyes, she places the golden cross beside it. Suddenly, she charges at the box and rips it open. In it lies a large crimson book and a small object which looks like a holster of a knife.
Namine takes the book and reads the title. The Mysteries of The Night, it said. She leaves through it, seeing all kinds of photo's of strange people with pointy teeth and objects. She finds a page with a photo of a cross just like hers. Namine reads the sentence underneath the photo and frowns.

Namine: "The golden cross is known to be the most effective against the creatures of the night"?

She frowns and puts the book aside. She takes the holster and slowly takes out the knife. Like her cross, the knife is made out of gold. Immediately, Namine spots the same symbol craved into the metal. Her blue eyes wander back toward the book and a curious feeling spreads inside of her. She takes both objects and runs to her window. She climbs out and onto the roof without any difficulty.
There she sits down and admires the view of the setting sun. From here, she could she the playground kids of her class liked to play at so much. The only fun things where the swings, in her opinion, but like always, Namine saw both were already taken by girls about her age. She shrugs and opens the book on her lap.

She had a lot of reading to do..

[konoha-senpuu]

In a house a boy way screaming. Nobody could hear him. An old man was yelling at him. There was no way to go...

grandpa: You did it again, didn't you? Everytime and i mean EVERYTIME you see on of those Beasts you should kill it! You are disgusting! Even talking to them is a disgrace to this family!

Kirai: NO! i want someone to play with, she was really nice. She said i wasn't like you. she said your heartless! *tries to hide himself behind his arms*

Grandpa: Heartless?*his face gets relly close to Kirai's face* Those... things ripped the harts of your parrents out! that's what i call heartless! You have bad luck today, because your grandma isn't here. I'm gonna let you regret e-ve-ry second you played with that scum(comes closer and picks up a wooden stick* right here, right now.

Kirai: No grandpa! I *gets hit with wooden stick but doesn't scream anymore* I hate you!!!*looks shocked*

suddenly the old man starts to make choking sounds. He falls on the ground and doesn't move anymore. It seems he is dead.

Kirai: *runs to his grandfather* Grandpa! what are you doing? i didn't mean it *cries* say something! *punches his dead granfather in the face*

Someone opens the door. Kirai knows it's his granny, and he knows he has to run. Kirai runs to the kitchen, grabs a knife wich once belonged to his dad and runs through the backdoor.

Kirai:What now?.. i'm only 8 and i left my home already. I need to get out of this. *starts running* Granny said the house wasn't too far from town.
I think I am close now. I ran for almost 5 minutes. I didn't know i could do that*smiles proudly* I feel kinda sick. I left granny alone with a dead grandpa.. dont worry granny, i'll be back! O wait..there, i see a light! *walks up to the light to see its a lamppost*

Somewhere near are girls talking. they sound like the same age as Kirai.

Kirai: this is a playground. i've been here with my mom once. *walks out of the bushes and sees two girls sitting on a swing* What are they doing here? its very late.

Hi there!*holds up his hand and runs to the girls*

[Naru]

In a decent sized appartment building after recovering from the beating the pure bloods gave Gabriel, he is just walking by the edges of the 5 story apartment building pondering what the pure bloods told him.

Gabriel is just staring as far as he can see with his crimson red eyes into the darkness witch didint seem so dark to him he could see just fine. The moon's light is shinning britely tonight since it appears to be a full moon. "Your worthless!!" those words echoed in his mind for the longuest time. He just thought "what do they have that i dont, am i bad, why am i useless. . . ". With out noticing Gabriel spooks a pair of pidgens that where on the edge of the apartment. One flew directly at him, scaring him. He was loosing his balance "uuuh aaa!!" He starts fallin face first to the street below. AAAA!! Gabriel shuts his eyes very tight so he wont see what happens but then he feels a thud and when he oppens his eyes he landed on his feet. The shock of falling five stories head first into the ground but what shocked him more was the fact that he landed on his feet and no strain where on his legs. *what am i"those words echoed in his mind for a long while. He was to curious to go right away to tell his uncle so he went for a walk to see what else he could do. This sense of power made him feel great.

[Naratashi]

Serenity: *looks at the boy* Hi! *sees a glint from the knife but ignores it thinking it's a toy*
Amara: Do you know who that is?
Serenity: Nope. *stands up* You're out of breath. Did you runaway?
Kirai: Ummm....How did she catch on so fast?! Nah I'm playing hide and seek. So make sure you don't tell.
Serenity: *doesn't believe him but plays along* Okay. *goes back to Amara* I have a good feeling I'm walking home, you want to come with me?
Amara: Sure.
Kirai: *is just noticing that Amara is a vampire* I'll go with you too. I don't think they'll mind me leaving for a little bit.
Serenity: Who?
Kirai: My grandparents. Well my grandma.
Amara: Oh. *realizing that he was without parents and blushes*
Serenity: Man Amara. You blush at everything.
