Dragon Fury (Story.)

Alright i decided to start up another new story. (im really bad at finishing my old ones, lol) reason i decided to do this is because my other story is on my external Hard Drive at my dad's so i don have access to it right now, well here it is (dont worry if you dont understand too much, this is just the 1st chap, and was used to help introduce stuff not explaine, the explaining will happen soon enough.



Chapter 1.

“Take out the rogue!” yelled a dragon knight, “don’t let him reach the village gates!” three knights were in pursuit of a rogue.

“Damn, what rank was this guy?” another knight asked.

“Just a Silver Wing, let’s hit him with the Trinity formation.” The captain of the knights ordered.

“Yes sir!” the other two replied as the dragon knight shifted into their position to apprehend the rogue.

“Ready your runes, aim for the wings!” yelled out the captain, “ready… aim… FIRE!!!” the three knights held their hands towards the rogue knights dragon, a red glow from each of their hand started to shine in the shape of a flame, following the glow was a burst of flame, hitting the rogue dragon taking it out of the sky, “good the dragon lost its flight now take the rogue into custody for questioning, and I’ll take care of the dragon.”

“Yes Sir.” One of the knights said as all three of them landed, one of the knights jumped off his dragon and ran to the rogue, then shackled the rogue. “Damn, you rogues are just growing in number.”

“Our cause is righteous…” shot out the rogue, right before he get one of the knights fist in his face, the rogue spit some blood then continued, “You have no right to smack me around until you know the truth.”

“Just tightening your noose, I suggest you save the talking for the castle, where it really matters, alright get him to the castle; we will stay and deal with the dragon.” The caption ordered and the rogue was thrown on one of the Dragon’s and the knight hopped on after and took flight and head for a large castle in the distance. The captain walked towards the rogue’s dragon, “I’m sorry old friend but you chose to help him, so this must be done.” The captain put his hand on the dragons forehead then his hand started to glow, “this is all for the cause for justice.” The captain and the other knight closed their eyes.

“You wouldn’t stay a knight if you knew the truth…” the dragon whispered but then its entire body was caught up in flames and it just laid down as if nothing happened as its life slowly went away.

“I hate this part of the job.” The captain barely spoke as he opened his eyes, “truly a dreadful sight.”

“One you can never get used to sir.” The knight said in attempt to calm the captain down.

“Alright saddle up and let’s head back to Sauronix Castle.” The captain gave his final order, the two knights mounted their dragons and set off in the direction that the other knight took the rogue to.

(i am only posting one part per chapter unless stated otherwise, so you may realize that this is shorter then most other chapters i do, but like i said its just the intro chapter, so it should be the only short chapter, enjoy.)

New chapter (a bit longer.)

Chapter 2.


Dragon’s fly above the castle, and one lands in the court yard. “Mission Complete sir, the rogue has been sent to the cell’s for information.” A dragon knight salute’s to another knight in front of a large group of teenagers.

“Good, but as you can see we must get on with the graduation ceremony, please wait in the cells and after this I will be there shortly.” The higher ranked knight ordered the other and the other mounted his dragon and followed the others to the castle, when the knight was out of view the high ranked knight looked at the large group and began a speech in a very seed and loud tone, “I personally want to congratulate every single one of you, as you are the youth that will from now on be the protectors of the sky’s, sea’s, and land’s of Sauronix, you are hereby Dragon knights of the great land’s of Sauronix, I, Riou Genkakuu, General of 1st fleet of the Red Dragon Ground Unit see that you all will become mature dragon knight’s in the future, and to someday be the one’s in my position giving my orders, you have accomplished very much to get to this point, but do not stop your training, for the road of a dragon knight does not end here, this is just the beginning of what lies ahead, Serve this Kingdom, and the entire continent with honor, and bravery, you are now Dragon knights of Sauronix.” As he ended with this all the youth started to cheer, then Riou continued, “Now before you retire for today, you will head to Gordius Village, and receive your wings, your companion, and you will be placed in your units, dismissed.” Riou finished with a salute to the youth and the youth saluted him in return then returned to their cheering.

A small group of men were in the middle of the crowd conversing with each other, “Man, con you believe it Luc, hope we get to see some real action, wonder what my first mission is going to be, perhaps taking on a group of rogue’s.” a boy said laughing.

Luc just ran his hands through his short dark brown hair just thinking, “yeah, sure was a long six years, but I’m glad we are finally through with all that schooling.” Luc pulled a small flute from his pocket and continued, “I wonder what kind of dragon I get, if we are lucky the three of us will get in the same unit, what you think Tyr and Roy?”

Tyr was still yapping on how he was going to take on rogue’s, then thought about Luc’s question then answered back, “I don’t know, any three would be fine, just as long as I get one, but yeah, same unit would be pretty sweet, but seriously, you can’t tell me you don’t want to take out a couple rogue’s yourself.” He began to laugh.

“you do realize that we will most likely just end up with patrol, I heard all new knights start off with patrolling for a year, they don’t even let you take on Rogue’s till you earn your silver’s.” the third boy in the group said he was referred to as Roy, “plus I wouldn’t mind just taking an easy with a couple patrol’s after we just finished the schooling, and don’t forget, that was just the mental training, wait till we hit the physical stuff.”

Tyr calms down bit then grumbles at Roy, “You always know how to take someone’s fire.”

“eh, at least we are done with all the test’s and stuff, suppose we should head to the village to finish graduation, I’m up for a good rest, as Roy said, tomorrow we either patrol, or we train some more, or most likely both.” Luc finished off and started for the gates of the castle with Roy.

“You two are a real buzz kill you know…” Tyr sighs then runs up to Luc and Roy, “hey Roy, when do we get our runes?”

“That’s all for the dragons to decide, you really should have paid more attention to your studies.” Roy replied.

“Hope I get something cool, like fire or lightning.” Tyr let out with a hint of joy, “so uh… why exactly do our dragons decide again?”

“You really are helpless Tyr, you slip up too much and your punishment will be severe.” Said Roy, “but if you really don’t remember, it’s cause the runes are like a gift from a dragon, only way to obtain one is through your dragon, and your dragon won’t give it to you until it sees that you are fit to handle it.”

“Yeah… well enough of that, let’s just get to Gordius.” Tyr says as the exit the gates of the castle, “so… which way is it?”

“I really don’t know myself, I’m a first generation knight myself, ask Luc.” Roy replied.

“Huh? Oh yeah it’s just past the plains, it’s not too far from the castle.” Luc pointed over the grassy plains in front of the castle and the three continued on.

“Man I am so exited!” Tyr gave out a scream and he began to run followed by Luc and Roy.

Really good actually. Keep going. So the Dragons give their users runes of elements. How about one of the three get one special rune? Something like: Normal runes - Fire, Lightining, Water, Rock and Wind. Special runes - Venom, Dark, Ice and light? Just an dea.
