The Grand Tale of Havoc's End

Chapter 1:

The violent winds disturbing the harmony of Konoha had ceased since Naruto Uzumaki had become Hokage. His leadership and his ideals lead the village into an unprecidented era of peace and prosperity. Naruto, now an older man was striving to keep his story going in honor of his friends and his sensei who could no longer be with him.

He stood up on the roof of the Hokage Mansion looking up at the sky in his Hokage clothing. His coat swayed in the wind and the full moon shined down on him illuminating around him.

"Ah ha ha...How lucky for their to be a full moon tonight...Its so peaceful looking, I sure am lucky.." Naruto scratched the back of his head laughing. He gave another laugh, but was cut short from footsteps approaching.

"Your late you know.." Came a female voice as the figure approached Naruto.

Naruto smiled and shook his head, "Aren't I here before you Sakura-chan?" He gave a big smile towards Sakura.

Sakura laughed and closed her eyes shaking her head, "Idiot, thats because I was looking for you...What took you so long?" She walked up beside him looking up at the sky with him.

"Ahh ha ha it was nothing you worry too much, My wife should be care free...I just had to take care of a few things..." Naruto stated crossing his eyes his confident dimeanor ever present even in though he had matured he still seemed much like his former self.

Sakura smirked a bit putting a hand on her hip, "Your wife isn't some defenseless little girl.."She liked to remind him she physically beat the tar out of him every now and them, though this time she gave him a soft punch to the side of his head giving him a blushing smile.

Naruto responded with a kind smile, "Sakura..You should get home, its getting cold and little Jiraiya and Kushina will be waiting for you..I still have some work to do yet.."

Sakura looked to him with a slight bit of disbelief in his words, "I still can't believe you insisted on naming them that way..Isn't it painful to remember?"

Naruto shook his head and laughed, "No...Its like I never lost them at all..I have them here in my heart, they help me protect this village, and you..Now please go make sure they are alright. I doubt Ino wants to watch them all night.."

Sakura grinned and closed her eyes turning away from Naruto shurgging his comment off, "That lazy pig needs some training before she has training of her own anyway.." Sakura walked off knowing something was wrong, but once Naruto had made up his mind she knew better then to try and talk sense into him.


Naruto stayed there smiling as the windstarted to pick up and there was a figure standing behind him. He cracked a bit of a smile, his eyes seemed calm and serene, "So you did decide to come..."


The figure standing behind him was silent and his fists were gripped tightly, almost enough to draw his own blood, he spoke nothing, but his intent was clear.


Naruto sighed turning to face this person, "Well then I suppose I can't turn you down after you came all this way...Are you ready to face me?? Konoha's Shining WhirlWind Uzumaki Naruto?" Naruto didn't even flinch and the figure still stood there, Naruto smiled and nodded, "Fine then..."


They lept at each other with incredible speed, Naruto was faster sending the first hit on his opponent, sending him flying from the village deep into the mountains.


Naruto followed him there lookign around not seeing him, "What are you going to hide...Show yourself!


The figure lunged at Naruto sending him through a couple rock pillars.


Naruto was already standing when the dust cleared whiping his mouth, "That was dirty...but if thats all you have then this won't last long."

The clash continued, a huge explosion, shaking even the village as far away as they were. The explosion lit the sky up waking everyone, the village paniced and Sakura knew something was wrong....


The next morning Naruto was found outside of the village. Lying there seemingly dead, his body beat and burned and this was one of the saddest deaths in Konoha History.


As there was an investigation that ensued and it was found out that 10 shinobi went missing a few hours before Naruto's boy was discovered. They are the prime suspects for Naruto's death and are being hunted with the assistance of the Sand village and the personal involvement of Gaara of the Desert, the Sand Village Kage.

Chapter 2:

The mood of the day was sorrowful and one filled with anger for many of the shinobi present. Many of them were Naruto’s dearest friends and they had been with him since the beginning of his journey to become Hokage. Sakura was standing in front of his casket looking down, she had a child’s hand in each of her own, Little Jiraiya and Kushina had been tightly nestled into Sakura’s legs balling their little eyes out. Sakura was mute, the pain and the sorrow was there, but she had to be strong for her kids and for the village. A few tears dropped to the ground, that’s all she could afford to show, she was now the acting Hokage. Her grief over the situation was mounting and all she wanted to do was breakout and cry.

Ino and Chouji stood not far off crying with a deep amount of grief, and to the other side of Sakura was Kiba and Hinata, she was crying more then normaly burying her face into Kiba’s shoulder. Neji and Ten-ten stood there, both of them stronger then most. Neji’s mind raced with the days of their youth and Ten-ten stood there watching all of them. She too let out a single tear remembering her friend and comrade, she looked over to see even Neji’s staggering resolve almost break at the thought of losing a dear friend.

A darkened figure stood ontop of the Hokage mountain looking down at the funeral.

“So Naruto…this is the legacy you leave..I hope you can see all your dear friends morning your passing.” The figure seemed familiar to Sakura who was looking up at him, she sighed and then she was able to crack a smile.

Not long after the funeral Sakura was named Hokage and given the title The Fiery Queen of Konoha in honor to her unflinching courage and unwilling nature of falling behind. By this time she had become a force to be reckoned with having few equals in the village physically. Her skill of chakra control and her medical jutsuu had surpassed her old teacher Tsunade in spades.

She sat at the window of the hokage mansion looking out at the village. She cracked a smile after a few moments of thought.

“There’s no sense in hiding you know..” She said turning to the window on the left. “Kakashi…” She said.

A moment later Kakashi, a much older man, but still well kept in the upstanding fashion of a Konoha shinobi, “Hokage-sama..”

Sakura let out a huff of disappointment, “I think the godfather of my children can call me Sakura…” She smiled, “I saw you at the funeral. I’m glad you were able to make it..” Her face went solemn again.

Kakashi’s face seemed a bit older a wrinkle or two here and there, but he still had the dashing charm he used to, and his aura of mystery seemed to deepen, “Do you have any leads..?”

Sakura put her game face on walking to the desk, “There are 10 shinobi missing from the village. 2 of them are ANBU…This is serious considering who we are talking about.”

Kakashi’s eye raised and he let out a bit of a sigh, “Those two hmmm? I still don’t understand why they were made ANBU…”

Sakura looked back out the window, “I guess he saw something in them…”

Kakashi finally stepped into the office, “What were their names again?”


Sakura looked down at the file, “Kaiser Rhygokou
and Xuji Loujo” Sakura gripped a fist looking down at the files.


Kakashi raised a brow, “So…What should we do?”

Sakura looked to Kakashi a bit in shock, “We? Do you mean…?”

Kakashi nodded a bit, he stepped to the side and a man Sakura had not seen in 10 long years came in through the window. His stature had changed, his skin tanned slightly and his look too, longer hair, he seemd to be completely different.

Sakura smiled slightly, “Sai…Its been so long..”

Sai nodded a bit, “Yes Hokaga-sama…”

Sakura grinned, “Kakashi…I want you to take Sai and 5 others with you..I’ll leave who up to you..Right now we are vulnerable and we can’t afford to send out an entire army of our skilled shinobi for this. First we need more information before we move forward with anything…”

Kakashi nodded, “Yes…Sounds like a good plan, I’m surprised the Fiery Queen of Konoha is so cool after such an ordeal..”

Sakura grimaced at the statement, “He would want me to be strong…Don’t worry…when the time comes I’ll do what I need to..”She said gripping a fist.

As soon as they had appeared Sai and Kakashi were gone. Sakura’s feelings overwhelming her for a brief moment she crashed a fist into the study desk breaking it into splinters, “Damn them!!” A tear welling up into her eyes.

Bleach: The Surprising Student!

Chapter 1:

More then a 10 years had passed in Soul society since Aizen’s defeat, 7 years in the real world. Ichigo had taken Aizen’s place as a captain in Soul Society. They gave him the 5th division, it had remained empty for some time. After the defeat of Aizen it only seemed natural to give Ichigo his former position. Ichigo had become older and a bit wiser, but got in trouble with the new 1st Division General Ukitake often. General Yamma had fallen in the battle with Aizen, it is said in honor of his long service the Spirit King saved Yamma from death and was given a position on the Royal Guard. However only Ukitake knows the truth.

Orihime in the human world had graduated college with Ishida and Chad. Orihime had gotten a job as an interior decorator and Chad developed an interest in becoming a construction worker. Ishida works at the hospital under his father, much to his own distress. Ichigo’s father had disappeared after Aizen’s defeat and Urahara assured him that he shouldn’t worry about his father, he told Karen and Yuzu that he was going on a medical conference and then a vacation. He’s been gone for a year now, Karin and Yuzu worry about him often.

Karin is in high school as a freshmen and Yuzu is a grade below. Both of them have developed stronger spiritual powers since the incident with Aizen. Yuzu especially exhibits an exceptional amount of energy at times. Karin has been secretly practicing Kidou despite Ichigo’s express disapproval. Rukia now the captain of squad 13 after Ukitake become the general, she thought it would be best to have Momo Hinamori, dubbed the Kidou Master teach Karin a few tricks.


Ichigo spending a great deal of his time in Soul Society kept the front of being a school teacher in the real world. Much to his dismay he was also appointed to be one of the sword play instructor in the Soul Society Shinigami school.

It was the first day of school in Soul Society, the first day of school in the real world wasn’t until tomorrow.

There were many younger applicants this year which surprised Ichigo. When he walked into the room he saw the room was thriving with activity. Ichigo let out a bit of a sigh, under his breath, “Why did Ukitake do this to me..I never asked to be a teacher or a captain…” Though the truth of it was that Ichigo had been enjoying his new status, but he missed his friends. He often asked himself how this happened, finally he snapped out of it looking out at the students. Finally he started to channel spiritual energy and the room shook, everyone started to look over to the front of the room.

Within moments Ichigo’s huge blade was summoned swinging it over his shoulder then outward and stabbing it into the floor, “Welcome to the first day…”He said with a grin, “This is swordsmanship class...don’t mess around or you might die..”His face serious, he seemed to enjoy scaring some sense into the new students. Ichigo raised his brow, one student throughout the entire time had been watching Ichigo since he walked into the room. Ichigo gave the young man a glance for a few moments.

“I remember being that young..”Ichigo said to himself, even though he was still a young man, it seemed like forever ago.

Ichigo watched as they all started to settle slowly into their seats.

Ichigo gave a bit of a cough, “So..who thinks they wield my sword…?” Ichigo smirked, just as he had thought the young man staring at him was the first to raise his hand. “We have a volunteer..Good..”

The young man bolted to his feet and almost ran to the sword. He looked at it in marvel almost before looking to Ichigo.

“Well…go ahead..try it out..” Ichigo leaned back against the wall looking out the window when the young man touched his hands to the sword. When the boy’s hands touched the sword Ichigo raised a brow when he felt a bit of spiritual pressure emit from the young man, in his mind could hear Zangetsuu talking to him.

“Ichigo…Who is this man..there is something strange about him..”Ichigo continued to watch as the young man tried his hardest to move the heavy blade. The blade started to flinch, the young man encourage continued to pull hard, losing his footing the man tripped backwards the blade started to fall towards him. The young man looked up as the heavy blade was vaulting towards his face. The blade stopped inches in front of his face, Ichigo grabbing onto the hilt lifting it away from the floor.

Ichigo looked down at the young man with a stern look, “You can’t even hold your ground when gripping a blade…You don’t belong here…Get out…”Ichigo’s words not meant to be so cruel, but he had grown a reputation, everyone shinigami trained by him for the past 4 years had done well and advanced in some form.

In his mind Zangetsuu spoke once more, “That was harsh Ichigo, did I do that to you..” Ichigo finally responded, “Hmph…no old man..it’s a test obviously..We will see what he does..”

The young man ran out of the room in frustration, the spirit pressure Ichigo felt more then doubled.

“See there old man..There is something to this boy..”Ichigo turned to the rest of the class and resumed his introductory lesson and continued on with class. Looking at his roster he saw the young mans name.

“Kain huh?? Interesting…” Ichigo looked out the window and cracked a grin.

Within the next few moments Soul Society’s alarm went off. A single hollow had been sighted in the middle of the court. Ichigo looked to the class, “Everyone class will resume after this is over..If your not back when the alarm is over don’t bother coming back…” He gave them all a grin. Ichigo jumped out the window and started making his way to the last reported location of the Hollow. He landed on the roof of one of the walls of the court. Ichigo glanced to his side, “Byakuya…what are you doing here..” Kuchiki Byakuya was standing behind Ichigo, “Not that I need to explain what Im doing here to someone like you, but I’m here to kill the hollow that thinks it can come into Soul Society anytime it wants, what are you doing Kurosaki Ichigo..don’t you have other matter to attend?”

Ichigo hmphed and looked back at Byakuya, “Nope..I’m here to watch the show..I don’t think you will be needed though..”

Byakuya raised a brow, “What do you…”

Byakuya’s question was cut off by the answer, a shout came, “Kyaaaaaa!!!” The young man known as Kain had brandished a sword charging at the average sized hollow. The hollow threw a fist at the man knocking him into the wall.

“Ichigo..you can’t let him…”Byakuya’s face still calm, but his voice concerned. Ichigo put his hand up in protest.

“Just watch…” He said with confident smile.

“Your too reckless Ichigo…”Byakuya said looking on, “Unlike you if it looks dangerous I will not hesitate to save the young man..”

Ichigo didn’t respond but he watched on.

The young Kain slowly got to his feet panting heavily looking at the hollow who had already started to move on.

“Don’t ignore me!!!” He shouted out charging at the hollow slashing at its back. The hollow howled in pain swiping its tail, knocking Kain into the wall again.

Byakuya watched carefully, “You see..you should save him before he gets himself killed.”

Ichigo grinned, “No way..its not over just yet.”

Kain stood up coughing up some blood and gritted his teeth. “I’m not done yet!!” He yelled this time running towards the hollow and jumped off the wall and then vaulted down towards the hollow, his sword going halfway into the hollow’s mask.

Chapter 3:

Kakashi darted from building to building and stopped just outside Shikamaru’s place. He stood on the roof looking over the city, as Shikamaru stepped out onto the patio he stared outward as well.

“Its been some time..Kakashi-sensei..” Shikamaru said, his hands bringing up a cup of coffee to his lips.

“Shikamaru…Its good to see you again..I see your still smoking..” Kkakashi said, the cigarette in Shikamaru’s hand came up to his mouth and he took a drag off of it, blowing the smoke out of his lungs. “And how is the Emissary from the Sand Village doing hmm?” Kakashi gave a bit of a smile through his mask.

Shikamaru scoffed and looked up at Kakashi, “What do you mean?”

Both of their conversations were cut off with Temari walking out in full garb straightening herself, she looked to Kakashi then Shikamaru, “He was giving me a tour of the new places at the village…”

Kakashi gave a bit of a laugh, “You two never change…”Kkakashi sighed. Watching as Temari and Shikamaru shared a brief glance with one another, their relationship reminding Kakashi of Asuma and Kurenai’s relationship. Temari jumped off the patio off into the distance. Kakashi looked back down at Shikamaru. “The Hokage has given me a mission..Your coming with..”

Shikamaru looked up to Kakashi, “That soon huh?? What a bother…” Shikamaru walked back inside of the his room closing the door. Kakashi chuckled and darted off to inform his next target.

Meanwhile…

Shadows flew through the forest darting from tree to tree, by now they were far from Konoha and getting close to the border of the Fire Country. One of the shadows stopped landing on a nearby branch the rest of them coming to a stop in tow with the lead shadow.

“Why have we stopped…Kaiser!”One of the men asking with a concerned tone.

Kaiser turned to the man shaking his head, “We are well ahead of Konoha we don’t need to worry for now..but they will be coming after us..”

One of them gripped in a fist in anxiety, “Then we shouldn’t just sit here..We should keep going until we are sure we can safely regroup…”

Kaiser darted from his perched position and was in front of the man in a flash, “If you want to run things, just try it…”He demanded, his eyes seemed dangerous and his tone murderous. His muscles flexed slightly and his body in tow.

The man gulped looking Kaiser in the eye, “Fine then…”He said looking off to the side backing down from Kaiser’s challenge.

Kaiser huffed and turned looking outward into the trees.

A light-hearted laugh came from the left of them and Kaiser looked over, seeing a familiar face, “My, My Kaiser…so scary..You don’t want them pissing their pants do you?”

“Xuji...The same goes for you…”Kaiser said and darted off again.

Xuji gritted his teeth his thoughts circled around Kaiser, “Cocky bastard…I’ll just have to bide my time for now and follow him…”

The Grand Tale of Havoc’s End

Chapter 4:

Kakashi walked into the quaint home, but even then he could feel a creepy feeling he couldn’t shake off. Considering the house he was in it didn’t surprise him. Shino came out, he wasn’t wearing his coat like usual. Kakashi was surprised to see Shino had been working hard, he was a lot bigger then before and he seemed stronger. Shino throwing on his coat and his shades he looked to Kakashi for a few moments. Kakashi raised his hand and smiled through his mask.

“Yo Shino…”Kakashi took a step forward.

Shino always one for few words he liked to be short and too the point, “When are we leaving..”

“Ahh? Oh so you already knew??” Kakashi chuckled, “You always were a smart one huh?”

Shino started to walk out but a woman came running out of the kitchen, “Shino!! You weren’t going to leave before saying goodbye were you..You always do that!!” She stood pushing up her glasses and walked towards Shino.

“I have to go..look after the house wont you..”Shino walked out before the girl could get close. She sighed looking towards Kakashi.

“So your responsible..” She said as Kakashi was trying to sneak out, he always did have somewhat of a child-like demeanor at time.

Kakashi froze in his footstep, sweating slightly. He turned waving his hands back and forth, “No, No..its nothing really, you shouldn’t worry…”He let out a bit of a sigh, “It was the Hokage’s order…I’m sorry.”Kakashi exited the home with Shino’s apparent significant other letting out a bothered sigh.

Kakashi caught up to Shino quickly, Kakashi an older man still somewhat taller then Shino.

“You’ve gotten taller…I wish we had time to catch up, but I have a few more to gather before we leave..”Kakashi said, Shino nodded toward him before disappearing, most likely heading to the gate.

Kakashi continued walking towards the Hyuuga clan mansion, he sighed ringing the doorbell. A servant opened the door.

“Ahh! Kakashi sensei..Its been a long time..They will be happy to see you..”The man offered Kakashi to come in.
Kakashi stepped into the doorway and not long before entering the mansion Hinata stepped into view.

“Ahh Hinata-chan…”Kakashi smiled waving to her.

“Kakashi-sensai? W-What are you doing here?” She asked raising a brow. Hinata seemed to have shed some of her shy nature with maturity.

Kakashi reached back scratching the back of his head, “Ahh..oh yes..Is Neji around?” Hinata smiled shaking her head.

“He and Ten-Ten are training like usual…”She giggled a bit and walked off into the next room opening the door Kiba came into view, Kiba stood shirtless. Kiba had grown too, he looked a lot stronger and Akamaru looked to be more of a noble creature then a dog..Kakashi gave a bit of a laugh.

“Oy..Oy Kiba..What luck..I’m here for you too..”Kakashi said.

Kiba raised a brow, Hinata’s look took a more serious tone and put a hand on Kiba’s shoulder, but he put his hand on hers and smiled. He walked out of the room and scratched his head.

“Ahh Kakashi-sensei…Here for me?? For what reason..”Kiba had a suspicion of what it was, if Kakashi was here it could only mean it was important, “So quickly too..You just got back didn’t you..”

Kakashi nodded, “It can’t be helped…The Hokage has given me a mission and I get to pick who comes with me..I’ve already retrieved Shino and Shikamaru..Your next on my list and so is Neji which leaves one more.”

Hinata raises a brow and steps forward, “What about me Kakashi Sensei..?”

Kakashi looks over to Hinata, “…Sorry Hinata…on this mission we can’t bring you…”

Hinata’s look becomes distressed, not hurt, just concerned, “I see..becareful..”She leaned up pecking Kiba on the lips lightly, not wanting to embarrass him, she walked off slowly.

Kakashi looked towards her and then to Kiba, “Will she be alright..?”

Kiba nodded, “Yeah..she still hasn’t gotten over his death…She cared a great deal for him…”

Kakashi nodded, “I remember how she use to fawn over him..Funny how things work out..”Kiba nodded in agreement and looked to Kakashi..”

“Who is going to fill the last spot Kakashi-sensei??”Kiba said, a quizzical look painted on his face. He was trying to think of the answer before Kakashi answered.

Kakashi just smirked, “You will see..”

Chapter 5:

Elsewhere

Kaiser took one last look at the border of the Fire Country as he left it, “There is no turning back now…”Kaiser looked down at his hands and then he balled a fist. He was walking along now, since they had exited the border of Konoha they were a bit safer now. Most of his comrades were still in the shadows jumping from tree to tree. Kaiser and Xuji were the only ones out in the open.

“So..Where are we going Kaiser..you still never explained what we were doing…Is this some top secret mission…?”Xuji’s curiosity got straight to the point, but in a way he already knew the answer. Kaiser wouldn’t take 9 other skilled people with him if it wasn’t something serious.

Kaiser looked to the side not paying too much attention to Xuji’s inquiry, “Lets just keep going..we have a long way to go yet..”Kaiser walked on a bit faster taking the lead leaving Xuji grinning.

“The smug bastard…”Xuji thought, “Hmph… he thinks he can leave me in the dark..”Xuji was one of Kaaiser’s friends so in honest he felt more hurt then anything that Kaiser, his friend, wouldn’t tell him what was going on.

Kaiser’s mind was clear, he had an objective and he knew what he had to do.

The others in the trees had been discussing among themselves.

“Why would we be sent this far from the village?? I don’t remember receiving any orders from the Hokage.” One said to another. Most of them were ordered by Kaiser before they even knew that Naruto was murdered. So they still were oblivious to exactly what they were doing this far from the village.

“I know..the situation isn’t favorable, but what else can we do..Technically he is our superior…”The man responded shaking his head, “I don’t like it anymore then you, but for now we must see how this plays out…”

Back at Konoha

Kakashi walked toward the open area of the forest, peering from behind a tree he watched as Neji and Ten-ten trained. Ten-ten had greatly improved since he last saw her, her use of weapons had become much more focused, a couple of them were a bit strange. Kakashi’s eyes widened slightly, “So…she has started manipulating her element with her weapons…How impressive to do it with so many weapons…”He was surprised further when he saw the Kusanagi.

“Are you going to stand there forever or are you going to finally tell us what you want..”Neji came out from his training stance and looked towards Kakashi.

Kakashi stepped out from behind the tree and smiled waving slightly, “Neji, Ten-ten long time no see…”

“Kakashi-sensei?? So it was you…It’s been so long..So I guess you heard huh?” Ten-ten looked down with somewhat of a solemn look of pain in her eyes.

Kakashi nodded, “You shouldn’t worry Ten-ten…death is a natural part of life..Naruto was a good man…he knew what it meant to be Hokage..”

Ten-ten shook her head, “No…he was killed before his time..He promised he would protect the village…protect his friends!!” She almost yelled tears welling into her eyes.

Neji seemed indifferent to the conversation but in his heart he felt the same as Ten-ten..

Kakashi watched Ten-ten steadily for a moment before looking to Neji, “We have a mission assigned by the new Hokage..”

Neji raised a brow, “A new mission??? What is it?”

Kakashi sighed, “After Naruto’s murder 10 shinobis went missing, 2 og them were ANBU members..Needless to say they possess knowledge that could put the village in harms way..The Hokage has assigned me to pick 5 others along with Sai and myself to pursue them…So far I have Kiba, Shikamaru, Shino, and my 4th is you Neji…”

Neji raised a brow, “who is the 5th member??”

Kakashi smiled, “No need to worry about that...We will meet him on the way..”KAkashi chuckled and in moments he vanished.

Ten-ten with a look of concern on her face, “Who do you think the 5th person is..” She asked with pure curiosity and a bit of concern on her face.

“Something tells me that it will be interesting…”Neji says looking off into the distant sky, in his headh e already thought of who the possible candidates could be. He let out a bit of a sigh putting his hands in his pockets, “I’m sorry that I must leave you so soon…”

Ten-ten blushed slightly, “N…No it’s okay..I understand…Do your best..”She smiled giving Neji the victory sign, in her heart she was worried about him but she knew how Neji was and she knew that sending him off in such a way would only inspire him to do his best.


Im putting the bleach story on hold, Im sorry for those who are major bleach enthusiasts... its just a different anime has inspired me to do a fanfic about it,. The first chapter will be out soon. Naruto and this othe fanfic will be the only two i will do for quite some time. Also if you like my work please do tell. It always encourages better work from me when I recieve praise ^^ Thanks to those who have already expressed an interest in my work.

The Legend of Gau
Shadow Skill

Chapter 1:

Elle Ragu has just been banished from the homeland of the Kuruda Style after the events of Heaven’s fist. Elle had taken her adopted brother Gau as her servant and now she wondered what their next move would be. She sighed looking too the clear blue sky, “I just wish we had some money...I could really use a drink…”She thought to herself., “Hey Gau...How about we take a job to get some money huh?”

Hau let out a bit of a sigh and shook his head, “Elle…How could you say such a thing..the 59th Sevaar saying such a thing..”He shook his head as he carried all the luggage along with Elle ontop of it all. She crossed her arms and gave a bit of a huff.

Elle gave a bit of a proud snuff with her upturned nose and her closed eye, “Gau you don’t know what I means to be a Sevaar.

Gau let out a bit of a tired sigh and shook his head, “I’m not the one trying to sell my services. The last I heard that wasn’t part of the Sevaar teachings.”

Elle was cut off from her train of thought, she let out a sigh of annoyance. She was surprised that Gau would cut so shortly to the point.

Elle closed her eyes and shook her head, “Gau..You worry too much about me..I can take care of myself..”

Gau shook his head, “Right..thats why king Hawak Eye and Scarface assigned me to be your valet..to keep an eye on you..”

Elle shrugged it off, “So you knew about that..huh?” She grinned and crossed her arms while Gau held the weight of the luggage on his shoulders.

Elle leaned down and punched Gau in the top of the head digging into his hair.

“Elle!!” Gau said announcing his protest to his sister.

As Gaua was yelling at his sister their destination was slowly coming into view.

“Shut up Gau..We are here..”Elle looked forward and crossed her arms with a grin on her face.

“Elle..I don’t know if it’s such a good idea for us to participate in this tournament ..”Gau sighed as they were slowly approaching the tournament stadium.

‘Oh Gau you worry to much…it will be easy money..You think the 59th Sevaar can lose??” She smirked as she praised herself. Then she looked down at Gau thinking to herself, “Gau you’vebecome so strong you don’t even realize that your probably strong enough to be the 60th Sevaar...The Sevaar of legend..”She smiled a bit and then gave a laugh, “Yeah right!!” She said.

Gau looked back at her, “What did you say Elle??”

Elle shook her head, “Nothing…”

They walked up to the registration and started to sign themselves in. A shadowy figure standing off the side watched them intently, “So they did come...Is Gau ready for his final test??”The man smirked and scratched his cheek thoughtfully.

The stadium was filling fast and they were going to be starting soon.

Elle was changing into her battle gear and Gau walked in just as she was finishing, “Elle..its vey likely that we will face each other in this tournament. What will you do??” Gau asked crossing his arms.

Elle smirked and shook her head, “I will fight..Its the Kuruda way..and you will fight too..IF you hold back I won’t forgive you..Come at me with everything you got..because I won’t go easy on you…”

Gau was taken back by her words and then he thought it over and smiled, “Okay Elle…I won’t hold back…We should hurry they are announcing the first match.”

Elle nodded and they both walked out into the stadium and they looked on as they saw who their competitors were most of them were inconsequential, but Elle could tell there were a few strong ones in the bunch.

The announcer stepped forward and was about to start the tournament. “Good day to you all! Today starts the Tournament of Fire, from across the world fighters have gathered here and are ready to put their lives on the line for your entertainment!” He shouted, the stadium cheered in unison with their approval of the mans message.”The first match will be…Elle Ragu vs. Jou Kreeg. Jou Kreeg the man standing to the very far right and Elle both stepped forward as the others started to walk back

Gau looked back at Elle one last time, “Good luck Elle…”

Chapter 6:

Shino was standing by the gate with his back to the wall, most of his face covered by his cloak. Kiba came walking up with Neji and Sai, Shino turned slightly and nodded to the others. Kiba laughed slightly, “It figures you would be here first Shino!”

“I got bored..”Shino replied with his simple answer. Neji remained silent, all of them had seemed to put on their very best cloths and they almost looked somewhat noble as they walked on. Most of them feeling a great sense of pride, pride for being able to go after the ones responsible for their friend’s death. Also sadness for the fact that they must even be on this trip.

In the next few moments Shikamaru jump down from the roof popping a cigarette into his mouth.

“Hello everyone..Kakashi-sensei isn’t here yet?”Shikamaru asked a bit of handedly almost as if the question he asked didn’t even matter.

Kiba shrugged while Neji and Shino stayed silent, their thoughts rest on their mission.

“I haven’t seen him yet today..”Kiba said, he looked over to Sai and looked quizzically, “You were asked before any of us, do you know anything.”.

Sai shook his head and shrugged putting on his fake smile, “Im as clueless as you guys are…”

Most of them looked to Sai, almost all of them knew he was lying about what he knew about the mission.

Finally Kakashi came walking up the road, a book in his hand and Kiba crossed his arms shaking his head.

“Your still reading those books huh, even though they stopped coming out..”Kiba’s face was more sad then anything since Naruto took up Jiraiya’s mantle continuing his book series, but now with Naruto dead the series really had stopped.

Kakashi for the most part ignored his comment, “It looks like we are all here..good.”

Kiba and Neji both looked at each other, “But you said there were to be 5 of us besides you and Sai..” Said Kiba.

Kakashi smiled and nodded, “Yes…our 5th member will be meeting us on the way..”Kakashi continued to walk right past all of them, “Lets go…”He said bringing the book he had to a close. “I know its sudden, but we need to move fast, they are at least a full day or two ahead of us. If you need to take a rest then we will…remember what this mission is about..”

Most of them instantly understood what he meant, they were going out to find out who killed Naruto but also to get revenge without starting a war. They were to investigate the 10 shinobi who went missing from the village and collect information, if they are found to be the perpetrators they are to be killed immediately.

They all immediately jumped out of sight and started to speed through the forest, switching from jumping tree to tree, then at periods they would run on the ground through clear patches of land. All of them, even Kakashi, had conflicting emotions about their mission, most of them concentrated on getting to the bottom of what happened. Kiba and Neji especially seemed to be more affected, Neji very high concentrated, Naruto someone who changed his life and his views was killed, someone Neji highly respected.

Kiba was Naruto’s dear friend and his death brought great grief to not only Kiba but to Hinata as well. They had been jumping and running feverously towards the last known position of the group of shinobi, but they were hard to follow, even through all of this havoc they had managed to cover their tracks quite well.

Kakashi was quite calm throughout all of this, he had lost many people in his life and Naruto’s death affected him somewhat more so then anyone else, save for Sakura. Naruto had exceeded all of his expectations and saved the village and didn’t let anyone die when he was Hokage, now Naruto’s bright light had now been snuffed out, it angered Kakashi more then anyone would ever guess.

There was a shadow standing miles away from Kakashi’s group sitting on a rock with their arms crossed. The person sitting there cracked a smile, “Same old Kakashi sensei…”

Kakashi’s group continue to bolt through the forest with continued concentration until they saw a shadow up ahead.

The shaow sitting at the rock raised his eyebrow, “Oh…hehe I didn’t expect this…”

Kakashi stopped in his tracks and stood there, the rest of the group taking stance, but Kakashi remained calm and cool, “Stand down…its our last member..”

The person standing there looking outward at the large expanse of the fire country had his arms idely down his sides. Raven black hair coming partly down his back and his hair at the top spiked slightly. His white shirt, with a familiar symbol on the back, he turned to face the group and the sash around his waist, with the Konoha Leaf symbol adorned on it. His sword hung from the sash intricately tied in with it. His black pants swayed and ruffled against the wind and he turned slightly.

“Kakashi….sensei..”Sasuke stood there looking their way, most of them in shock as they had not heard from Sasuke since he was sent on his mission of inner peace. Something agreed by Him and Naruto after their last great battle. There were rumors that Sasuke and Naruto talked often after their last battle. Naruto had reinstated Sasuke and using his authority dropped all charges of abandoning the village, in a sense bringing him back just as he promised Sakura. The monument of their battle stood not far from here.

Kakashi smiled, “Sasuke-kun…”Most of them looked to Kakashi then Sasuke unable to really say much.

Kiba finally spoke up, “So he’s back..?” Kakashi only nodded a bit and the rest of them walked calmly towards Sasuke. Sasuke had this blank stare on his face as his black hair swayed in the wind, he didn’t say much but even then he had changed greatly from the person he was long ago.

Neji’s look became curious as he then noticed it, pronouncing astutely, “So..you were blinded with your last battle with Naruto weren’t you..?”

Sasuke turned his head and looked in Neji’s direction, “I see fine..just with my ears now, not that its any of your business…” Neji closed his eyes shaking his head, “Kakashi-sensei..I don’t mean to question you or the Hokage, but how will a blind man be of any help…”

Without even missing a step of the conversation Sasuke was behind Neji his hand coming down onto Neji’s shoulder, “I’m not so useless…”Sasuke stated, his lips smirking slightly, with the rest of them ,save for Kakashi and Sai in somewhat shock. In a matter of 5 years Sasuke had completely coped and mastered his blindness.

Neji’s eyes were more shocked then anyone, “I didn’t even notice…impossible…”Neji prided himself on his near perfect 360 field of vision and his adept sense of seeing those that are said to be too fast, but Sasuke had just proved him wrong.

Sasuke shrugged walking past all of them, “Besides..none of you knew it but Naruto was blind too..”

This time even Kakashi stared in amazement and shock.

All of them at once, “Wh..what did you say? That’s impossible..he..he..”

Sasuke smiled slightly, “Sakura and I were the only ones that knew..our last battle impaired us both…He didn’t want to scare anyone and make them think he couldn’t protect the village…”Sasuke’s normal serious tone seemed to have lightened in the past 5 years.

Kakashi’s look of shock eventually faded while others still tried to grasp, “So…how long did it take him to cope..?”

Sasuke smirked again, “It took Naruto only a year and a half to master his blindness..We sparred…3 months ago..it ended in a tie, but I even think I lost, but he insisted it was a tie…Everything seemed fine I don’t know what happened, but Sakura asked me to help find who did this..”

Chapter 7:

Sasuke looked over to Kakashi, Kakashi was impressed with Sasuke, it was if Sasue had never lost his sight at all, “Shouldn’t you fill them in Kakashi…”

Kakashi sighed looking to Sasuke for a few moments, “I see..so she told you then?”

Sasuke nodded.

Kakashi shrugged a bit closing his eyes, “So it can’t be helped then…” Kakashi waved everyone in close, “There is something you need to know about this mission..You all know that 10 shinobi went missing shortly after Naruto’s murder, but you don’t know who they are.”

Kakashi let out a bit of a sigh crossing his arms, “Two of them were ANBU special ops in charge of monitoring outside threats to Konoha…Due to the severity of the situation Sakura has authorized me to give out their real names Kaiser and Xuji..”

Neji narrowed his eyes and looked to Kakashi, “and they took 8 others with them..Hokage-sama only sent this many to deal with those two along with 8 others..IT seems to reckless…”

Kakashi sighed and nodded his head, “I know how you feel, but at this time we cannot allow Konoha to look weak..so this all we can spare at the moment..Neji I need you to use your Byakugan and see if you can see anything at all that might help us..”

Neji sighed and nodded slightly.

Kiba finally spoke up with his own question, “Who are these guys..I know their ANBU but still are they really that dangerous??”

Kakashi and Neji both looked to Kiba, Shino seemed quiet along with Sai who already knew the story.

Kakashi let out a bit of a sigh, “Besides being ANBU members Xuji is the first shinobi in Konoha’s history, or the history of any country for all the know with the unique ability to use more then two elements. I haven’t seen it personally, but I have heard that his jutsuu’s are among some of the strongest in the ANBU and Konoha…and Kaiser is…a different story.” Kakashi let out another heavy sigh and finally looked to them all with somewhat of a serious tone, “This information is top secret it was Naruto as well as Sakura’s order that anyone who talks about this is to be banished from the village. Now then…Kaiser is part of a forgotten bloodline, all records of the bloodline had been erased long ago.”

Neji and the rest off them looked at one another, but Sasuke kept looking down the valley his own thoughts swirling about. “How is that possible Kakashi-sensei..”Kiba asked with a look of concern.

Kakashi looked to Kiba, “The bloodline limit of this family was too dangerous…The second Hokage had the entire bloodline wiped out…save for one branch of the family..It was kept very tightly under wraps and only Hokages were allowed access to the records.”

Neji narrowed his eyes, “More secrets…It makes me wonder sometimes. How is that no one else remembered this even throughout the years..?”

Kakashi shook his head, “It was forbidden and with time…most of everyone in the remaining branch died out except for a single woman, and her child…They were forbidden from practicing their bloodlines art and eventually she left the village despite the third hokage trying to stop her.

Neji raised a brow slightly, “She beat the third hokage..?”

Kakashi shook his head, “No..Sandaime sent 3 squads of 4 talented shinobi after her…”Kakashi’s tone got a bit darker, “Their remains were never found…It wasn’t until 18 years later that anything of her wherabouts had been found out. Her son had come forth to Naruto telling the story that his mother told to him, Tsunade had completely abolished the rcords and had them burned. But after hearing his story Naruto decided to give him a chance and sent him on a A-class mission”

Kiba scratched his head, “A-class…for someone like that, sounds like suicide…”

Kakashi laughed, “You were on some pretty dangerous A-class missions too you know..”

Kiba smirked, “Anyway…that mans name is Kaiser...the disciple of Raiden, or so that’s what they say, his teammates gave him that nickname after seeing him fight..He is a special shinobi. His family’s bloodline is the origination of a special type of taijutsuu, otherwise known as the 8-gates, Gai and Lee’s famous move…Well to put it shortly he can perform the 8th gate without dying…or that’s what the report says..”

Most of them stared at Kakashi in disbelief, “But Kakashi-sensei…Gai told me that was impossible..”Neji said his fingertips seemingly shaking a long with the rest of his body.

Kakashi shook his head, “Not true…the Buster bloodline, its limit is a special type of muscle and chakra control that is unique. It allows them to push taijutsuu to a new level..Now perhaps you understand how severe this is and why the Buster bloodline was all but wiped out. And now the Nidaime’s fears might be realized with this boy Kaiser…”

Sasuke smirked and let out a small chuckle, “Why so scared..? Your perfect defense wouldn’t faulter against such a person would it?”

Neji gritted his teeth at Sasuke comment and Kakashi closed his eyes letting out a sigh. “We need to get moving again..we have lost some time with this little story.”
