I wanna start playing a bass guitar pretty soon

i play a guitar... but only acustic and electric, i can play bass but it being alot different from the types of guitars i'm used to, it gets a bit confusing.
Since you're going to start off, the Bass guitar is a good choice.

i play the guitar:P.. well i played base for a while.. but i tought it wasn't very intresting.. so i started palying the guitar. only electric, i dont like the acustic's sound that much^^.. but playing a guitar-like instrument is damn fun to do!!

Yeah, I play like all three. Although I still need to buy a Bass of my own. >_> Anyway, playing bass first is what alot of musicians (all three of them) nowadays do, but I didn't (which might explain why my music career is going nowhere).

So, in order, Bass, Guitar, become famous as guitarist, and then have a big fit and be Britney Junior*

I traded my old bass for a lovely fender stratocaster. BEST GUITAR EVER! Ever since I got rock band, I wanted one and I finally do now

uhmm... jope...-.-... well im playin every three of them 2 but i dont like what ...whoever... said about acoustic guitars they sound rgeat (if you can paly them) end when you are doing a good job with Led Zepplin stairway to heaven or somethign else what isn't that hard it really just sounds fantastic if you want i could make a video of me playin my acoustic guitar... (ohh and shy guy why the fack are you copiing me xDDD i do not own a bass neither but i paly it sometimes xDDD i always lend it from my music teacher...(worked pretty good so far xDDD) uhhh...duhh forgot somethin i wantet to tell you...-.- doesnt matter...-.-

That post was like half a year ago.. Now i like the acoustic much more.. tough i said i dont like it that much, as in saying i like the sound of my amp more then i like the sound of acoustic guitars..

like you said playing songs like stairway to heaven sure is(sounds) awsome, or just playing some chords..:]

If you want to make a vid, that would be nice..:]

Yeah Gibson SG..*drools* someday i will have enough money..

I have Epiphone SG and acoustic.

well might as well ask here.

im planning on buying an electric guitar pretty soon. any one know any models that are good for beginners? not too expensive but can play real nice.
