2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing

i cant believe this thread wasn't here already XD

so anyway i liked the opening ceremony. twas quite awesome.
but i heard some bull**** about the fire. i cant exactly remember it though i was REEEEAAAAL drunk when i saw it on the news XD

i was drunk too, but i didnt watch it. i wasnt even sure when the olympics started, i mean the only reason i watched them last time is because it was required for school. not that i dont like the olympics, i'd love to go see them but i lack the funds to do that, and i dont really like watching sports on tv.

Why would your school require you to watch the Olympics!?!

I can't really get into watching sports of any kind because then it remineds me of how badly I fail at everything athletic. :P But it's nice to see all the countries coming togather for something other than war. The ceremony was cool but it went on for like 5 hours so I left the tv screen and went to bed.

None of my channels are broadcasting the Olympics. I would have loved to see the swimming championship. I love swimming.
